Junior Recreation Program

DESIGNED TO BUILD YOUR CHILD’S CONFIDENCE and WELCOME THEM INTO A LIFE IN THE ARTS.
(12 years & below)

In 2008, we commenced the Professional Development training squad for young dancers aged 7-18 years who are driven to achieve something special out of their dancing.

Due to high demand, we also offer recreational classes for students 12 years of age and below for those kids looking to take their first steps into the dancing world.

Ballet and RAD Wednesday 4:30-5:45 PM
 Jazz Technique Wednesday 6:00-7:15 PM
 Tap Wednesday 7:15-8:15 PM
 Acro Saturday 11:00 AM-12:00 PM
 Hip Hop 12:30-1:30 PM
Tiny Tots Ballet (Ages 7 and Below Saturday 9-10AM

Students have the option to participate in all 5 classes, or simply select one, two, three or four.

The Junior Dance classes are designed to introduce students into Patrick School of the Arts in a more recreational format than the Professional Development competition program.

These classes will extend a dancer’s knowledge and technique to a new and higher level

of training. With an emphasis on positive reinforcement and encouragement we aim
to build a dancer’s confidence as well as style and technique.

We have the best teachers offering their expertise and choreography to complement each dancer’s style and to develop self confidence and positive personal habits.

There are also opportunities throughout the year for performance, a mid- year showcase, end of year dance showcases and other events throughout the year. The school’s directors will guide the parents and students on how to achieve their dreams in a professional and educational environment that will cater to their unique needs.

Recreational classes are available for immediate enrolment and do not require an audition.
